Headline: Keep the headline brief and compelling, this will be the first thing people see about the petition. Be sure the headline clearly describes the goal of the petition. Double check your spelling, avoid using all capital letters, and avoid acronyms whenever possible.
Petition Description: Start by clearly articulating the goals and what you would like the Obama Administration to do to help achieve that goal. Include additional information or research to support your request. Keep the petition description brief, you only have 2000 characters including spaces.
Tags: Tags will help further define the issues addressed in your petition, and will make it easier for others to find the petition through search. The tags you use should be short (one or two words), and should be descriptive of the content of your petition. Try to use no more than five tags per petition. For example, if your petition is about clean energy, you might add tags like "clean energy," "solar power," or "windmills."
