The Fiscal Cliff was a topic on the Washington Journal live show on 12/22/12. I called in my 1 Bill, 1 Item, 1 Vote solution to Stephen Dinan (Washington Times Political Editor). Stephen's response was that because the size of government is so large and the amount of the line items so many that Congress would not have the time to spend on each item. Exactly my point! Congress has spent several years and probably 1,000's of man hours trying to compromise on Americas' important issues with bills bundled with Earmarks which has brought us here today. Americas' financial state can no longer support this decades old past practice used by our duly elected officials on Capitol Hill. This calls for full transparency and accountability for each proposed item along with the backers of each proposal.
