The Electoral College is an outdated idea in our current Democracy. It defeats the fundamental principle of a Democracy. Created in 1787 out of a "mistrust" of the common people. The times have changed, and so have we. It's time to have all of our votes equally count. 1 Person = 1 Vote. This is what a true Democracy is meant to be and we want a discussion by our elected leaders to get rid of the Electoral College, and be the Democracy we claim to be.
