Our children should be better protected than many of the resources we go to great lengths to protect today. We have vaults for money, TSA for travelers and locks on our doors. But what do we do today to protect our children in school? We MUST increase the level of protection we offer these members of society. We owe it to them, we owe it to ourselves. We need to do the same and make the possibility of school violence a thing of the past. Schools are known as "soft targets" by experts in security. I say schools need to be the hardest target of all. When children are attacked at school its said that those responsible are trying to punish society. I say lets remove the option. Harden these targets. Remove children from this danger.
