2010: 100+ people DIED of drug overdose EVERY DAY. 2010 data is "current" for the CDC? PROVIDE US WITH REAL DATA!!!

Created by K.H. on August 02, 2013

2010 statistics show an alarming increase in drug overdose deaths in our country. Yet, the CDC claims 2010 to be "current". In 3 counties surrounding Chicago/Cook County ONLY HEROIN-RELATED overdose fatalities compare as follows:

2010 - 96
2012 - 144

What will it take to get actual figures to reflect the current STATE OF EMERGENCY, as it relates to drug overdose fatalities in our country? My son died in 2011, from a combined drug overdose. There are plenty of local groups FIGHTING to create awareness ~ with NO SUPPORT FROM OUR PRESIDENT. We do this for free. No salaries. No pensions. No cover-ups.

Give me funding to gather a group of mothers (whose children have died from drug overdose). We CAN GET IT DONE...Why can't YOU, Mr. Obama?
