We, the People of the United States of America, believe that the purpose of the Second Amendment has been fulfilled by the legally constituted militias of each State’s National Guard, State and Local Police, as well as the Federal Armed Forces.
We petition that the White House ensures the passage of a bill that:
i. Interprets the Second Amendment to mean that its protection extends only to the militias above described
ii. Requires for all firearms possessed by persons not members of such legally constituted militias to be turned in to Local, State or Federal Law Enforcement within a reasonable deadline.
iii. Provides owners a tax deduction equal to the estimated fair market value of the surrendered firearm.
iv. Criminalizes firearm possession for anyone not a member of the above militias.
