28th Amendment: Term Limits for Political Office

Created by B.C. on January 16, 2013

The purpose of this proposed amendment is to diminish the influence of lobbyists and special interest groups in our political process and to prevent individuals in political office from gaining too much power and sway over the democratic process in congress.

In addition, the amendment would include campaign finance reform to level the playing field between incumbents and challengers; this will serve to remove the influence of wealth in our elections to help ensure the best candidate is elected by the voters.
