This statement Is clear. We are not talking about hand-guns, or hunting rifles. This is about weapons that allow "The People" to be able to defend ourselves on an even playing field should the need arrise
"Assault weapons" or (semiautomatics) & high-capacity magazines are our GOD given right. To keep "All Enemies Foreign or Domestic in check and America free! The actions of a few bad people do not justify punishing or restricting the several millions of American patriots that are law abiding gunowners across the nation.
