The 2nd amendment protects the right to bear arms. The government is within its rights to limit the sale of ammunition.

Created by A.D. on December 17, 2012

Guns don't kill people, but bullets do. Why can ammunition be purchased in large quantities from so many locations, without any type of registration or tracking? As a way to reduce the amount of large scale gun violence in this country the following suggestions are made:

1. All ammunition sales should require registration, similiar to gun sales.

2. Ammunition sales should be tracked to record the amount of ammunition individuals are purchasing.

3. No individual should be allowed to purchase more than 20 rounds of ammunition at one time, unless they are purchasing ammuntion at a firing range for use at the range.

4. Individuals should continue to be allowed to reload their own ammunition as current law allows.
