2nd Chance

To have criminal records expunged from police and government records for persons who have felonies on their records after 10 years of clean law abiding living. This law should be consolidated to people who made mistakes such as burglary, possession, DUI and similar crimes. It should not include Murderers, rapists, child molesters or any other crimes of such a violent nature. The reason is because all of the background checks going on today keeps these people from being able to support themselves and their families. They paid for their crimes did their time and yet they are still being treated as if they are criminals. This is a discriminatory act by the American people and the governments both local and federal and it needs to stop. Everyone deserves a second chance at a good life.
