With all the Illegal immigration that's going on in the United States today and no clear and concise way of tackling the issue that makes any sense, why not just set up a program where Illegal immigrants are offered the opportunity to serve the country they are so desperate to be apart of?
This petition is to gain recognition to the idea that a person found to be an Illegal Immigrant within US borders be offered the opportunity to serve in a US Military branch of their choice for no less than 6 years in lieu of deportation. There is already Citizenship laws created that do this very thing for Immigrants that are here temporarily, but it is not extended to Illegal Immigrants.
If the Illegal Immigrant should chose not to participate in this program, they are deported; Plain and simple.
