60,000 acres of wetlands are destroyed each year. Decrease the amount of wetlands destroyed each year by 20% by 2020.

Created by M.J. on February 20, 2013

According to the EPA, 60,000 acres of wetlands are destroyed each year because of housing and farming needs. Wetlands are an important part of the environment because they store water, help prevent floods, and filter polluted water out of the water cycle.

We would like the White House to push legislative measures that will decrease the amount of wetlands destroyed each year by at least 20% by 2020.
