6/30 is a revolution not a coup

Created by J.E. on July 07, 2013

June 30, 2013 is a revolution, not a coup. There has been a misinterpretation by the U.S. government and the media about the critical situation in Egypt. Thirty three million Egyptian demonstrated all over Egypt and around the world, to overthrow president Morsi. There are reasons behind the Egyptian people's reaction. Mr. Morsi has not benefited the country in any way and the Egyptian people have the right to overthrow him. The only reason the military became involved is because its duty to protect the Egyptian people. Twenty-two people signed a petition, asking president Morsi to resign before people went out in the streets to overthrow Morsi. All we ask of the American government is to respect the Egyptian people's decision of overthrowing Morsi. Again, this is not a coup
