In 2008 Jonathan James was convicted of hacking and pursued by the U.S. government until he shot himself in the head.
The prosecutors in that case were the same as the prosecutors used against Aaron Swarts, another brilliant mind that took his life over facing the overzealous charges brought upon him by the government that is supposed to protect it's people, not force them into suicide.

History is now repeating itself with Matthew Keys. Reform cybercrime law, and give Matthew Keys a reasonable punishment, not 25 years.
