When knowledge is power, information should be free. The scientific and scholarly research that is conducted using tax-payer money should be placed in the public domain, free of charge. Allow for the free copy and distribution of information which was gained at the expense of the American tax-payer. Additionally, Aarron Swartz's family should be provided with a generous severance package for the wrongful death of their child at the hands of the United States government.
