The sanctions against Cuba has gone on long enough. The people of Cuba are the only ones that are suffering. The sanctions were put in place to cause the downfall of Castro's Communist Government. This has not happened and probably never will, at least in the short term. Stopping the sanctions will do so much more toward lifting the terrible conditions imposed on these innocent peoples. As fellow humans, just trying to survive, they should deserve better. Let us abandon these sanctions and extend our hands in friendship. Let's shake off the final weight of the Cold War and let the Cuban people rejoin the World communities including the United States as equal Partners again.
