Please act NOW to abandon the United States–Hong Kong Policy Act, as that's a dangerous policy which gives US companies a false sense of protection while trading with Hong Kong.
The Chinese Communists have just proved that they can "explain" (change) the Hong Kong Basic Law (constitution) for their own benefits, without any place where international businessmen can comment. The law can even be changed during a court trial. So Hong Kong IS China NOW, no difference. That means unpredictable risks and financial loss for a US company working in Hong Kong, if they are engaged in court cases vs Chinese owned companies.
US should abandon the United States–Hong Kong Policy Act, to protect their people from unfair Chinese Communist "laws". For the best of the United States.
