Obama and other Democrats in Congress have been pushing Obamacare on the rest of the country, however, they refuse to abide by the healthcare exchanges themselves. If Obama and his democrats think that the Affordable Care Act is such a great thing, then why will they choose to be exempt from it if it were passed as law?
Several Republicans have proposed amendments to the heathcare law stating that government officials shall not be exempt from Obamacare, but this amendment is rejected by all of the democrats who support the bill. This government exemption implies that government is above the people it represents.
