abide by the rules of UN Security Council on international affairs, and set the example for other countries to follow.

Created by J.C. on September 05, 2013

The United States needs to be a nation that sets an example for the rest of the world instead of promoting our ideals with violence and war.
The peace keeping organization, the United Nations is designed to deal with international crises, and it is America's responsibility to abide by the rules of the United Nations.
Ignoring a vote by the Security Council on an international issue provides other nations with precedence to ignore the United Nations as a whole including the wishes of the United States of America.
Ignoring a Security Council vote will undermine the United Nation's ability to keep peace between nations in the future.
Eventually leading the UN to become completely useless against future crises.
The US should lead by example and abide by the wishes of the UN.
