Abide by the spirit of the Nobel Peace Prize awarded President Obama by adopting non-military approaches in Africa.

Created by M.S. on December 02, 2011

More than any other region in the world, Africa possesses a wealth of natural resources and tremendous potential for growth to warrant having foreign aide and investment focus on building up educational, health, telecommunication, government and economic institutions and infrastructure while seeking to expand agricultural and energy development. Unfortunately, there is a prevalence of war in Africa directly correlated with the world's largest supplier of weapons, the USA. The Obama Administration has a mandate to exhaust diplomatic efforts to wage peace, not war, in regions where dumping weapons in the past only served to deteriorate security. Today's surge of internally displaced populations and refugees from Africa demand change Obama promised the world we can believe in.
