All of congress and house of reepresentatives should not have the right to grant themselves a pay raise every year. With the inablitiy of congreess to pass a budget for the past four years, they are the only employees in the country that dictate to their employer (we the people) what the employee will earn, not on productivity or merit, but on want or greed. With the federal deficit at $16.5 trillion dollars and the US Government borrowing 40 cents of every dollar spent, they are not entitled to a pay raise because they want one. The senators and representatives should be required, like everyone else, to request a pay increase from their constituents by the constituants voting for their raise.
