abolish the ability of government representatives to accept monetary gifts from lobbyists, i.e. legalized bribery.

Created by P.R. on October 21, 2011

Although our representatives may argue that some transparency gives the appearance of objectivity, the ability of our representatives to accept monetary gifts from lobbyists is tantamount to legalized bribery. Let's get the influence of "money" out of Washington by taking away our representatives ability to benefit financially for a swayed vote. Lobbyist education on issues is fine, but when financial incentives to vote in a particular way or for/against an issue, the integrity of the "representation" has to be questioned.
