To honor those who served in the armed forces and either retired or received an honorable discharge, all income and state taxes should be permanently forgiven. The majority of veterans returning have difficulties finding good jobs and the disabled have an even harder time finding work to pay a decent wage. After fighting for our country, we should honor these brave men and women, not tax them into the poor house.
