Abolish all Private Prisons throughout the nation

We the people request an end to private prisons. Private for profit prisons that abuse and neglect inmates both female and male. Private Prisons that abuse and neglect inmates with disabilities and that ignore the civil rights of inmates. Oklahoma is one of the states that have both GEO and CCA private for profit prisons contracted to house and supervise inmates. These prisons constantly violate civil rights, disability rights and human rights. They provide little or no appropriate medical care even for the seriously ill and disabled inmates. Case in point young man diagnosed with Leukemia at one of these prisons being denied medical treatment. He is not in for a violent crime or does he has a life sentence. Excessive violence and incidences resulting in lock downs.
