The American Penny negatively dilutes all American currency in circulation. Pennies should be abolished.
All goods should be priced on a 5-cent increment scale, because American pennies just end up in the trash, in the gutters, in buckets and jars, in attics, basement and musty closets.
Essentially, every penny made is a "negligible" piece of the American economy that becomes COMPLETELY VALUELESS if it never recirculates.
There are an estimated 200.035 BILLION pennies in circulation. That amounts to two billion dollars, most of which will NEVER circulate nor contribute to the American economy. Two billion dollars is NOT a negligible amount.
Let's rid of this pointless complication of life that only does slight harm to the vitality of the American Economy.
