Mr. President, we, the undersigned, believe in the separation of Church and State as outlined in the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."
We petition your Administration and Congress to make unlawful the unconstitutional mixing of religion with Government and politics, and allow no person, political Party, or candidate to take action or pass regulation backed by their own religious special interests, religious intent or connotation. The fraudulent claim that this is "a Christian nation" is also unconstitutional.
