We urge the US government or state governments by way of the FCC to abolish the anti-competitive use of Data Limits or Caps by mobile carriers and/or Internet Service Provers (hereby referred to as ISPs).
Data Caps were created to limit access to several services online such as netflix, hulu, youtube to prevent the user from "cutting the cable." They also stifle the growth of small and home businesses which are operated online.
Consistent updating of a business' website sales page requires quite a bit of data to do the job. If a business user is throttled or cut off, it could damage their business.
Internet is the only utility which punishes the consumer for using the product. No other utility/product does this unethical practice.
