The USA does not support a specific Religion, but instead supports the US Citizen Right to chose how or whether s/he wants to follow a belief. Any law based on Religious morals violates that right.
Only certain morals (such as: murder, rape, discrimination) which prevent chaos can we enforce without violating the Right of Religious Freedom. Other morals (such as anti-abortion, certain sales prohibited on Sunday, Governmental/Public agencies being closed in observance of a specific Religious event) violates the Right of Religious Freedom.
