In light of the recent election and the obvious disregard for the common opinion of the people in nearly all government issues, I hereby petition the People of this union to abolish the right of the electoral college to dismiss the majority vote of the people of this union in it's entirety.
This nation was founded with the idea that the people's voice matters and will not be left unheard. In recent years it has become apparent that despite rising tax rates, we are not being appropriately represented in the process of election and reform.
America fought for it's right to be heard long ago. Men bled and died for this. We must not allow a select few to dismiss the voice of the many.
