The highest level of college football is the only major American sporting endeavor that does not decide a champion via on-field competition to which all teams may aspire. In addition to legitimate anti-trust arguments against the Bowl Championship Series, this petition is a common sense measure that crowns a national champion through head-to-head competition. This petition asks the federal government to lead a movement to allow and mandate a true national championship playoff for NCAA FBS college football.
