We the people ask the federal government to Propose a new Administration policy:

Abolish Capital Punishment in All 50 States

Created by R.Y. on October 27, 2016

Create a new Amendment to be added to the United States of America Constitution prohibiting and completely eliminating the death penalty on a nationally enforced scale. Fighting crime with murder is a grotesque and unnecessary measure of action taken against extreme criminals. Although it may seem appropriate in some extreme cases, a miserable lifetime in prison would seem in a way almost more fit for such cases. Death would almost be favorable to these criminals, as they would not have to face the mental suffering like they would have to face in a lifetime sentence at a federal prison in seclusion. Dying in prison would perhaps be more affective to ensuring the criminals have an intolerable life. The death penalty is cruel, inhumane, and violates the ideals of the right to life.
