Capital punishment in general is unethical, but executing people who are impaired is completely and utterly wrong. States such as Texas, Virginia, and California have put many people to death, and there is no question that some of them should have received psychiatric help instead. Please abolish capital punishment for prisoners with an I.Q. under 75 and help make the United States a more humane nation.
