CBS reported that 40 million consumers have a mistake on their credit report. These mistakes can keep a consumer from obtaining jobs, insurance and loans. This also brings our economy down by not allowing consumers to be the best they can be. How is an aged and flawed system still being used to test credit worthiness. There was a time that banks would get to know consumers.
They would understand that some things just were not their fault. Loss of job, medical expenses, unexpected funeral planning, the list goes on.
The slate needs to be wiped clean for all consumers and a new system needs to be created. We are entering a new age and if we want to get consumers spending and building the United States economy back up, then they need some incentive to do so.
