Daylight Savings Time is an archaic practice. During WWI and WWII it was originally started to save natural resources by attempting to match the work day with the longer summer light hours. However, we now live a 24 hour day and it no longer makes sense. Most countries in the world do not practice daylight savings time; for the most part it's only the North America and Europe. Several states do not practice Daylight Savings Time. For as many people that like extra light at the end of the day, there are people that enjoy the light in the morning. Daylight Savings Time serves no purpose but causes significant disruption when it's time for school, work, appointments and sleep. It should be abolished.
