Evidence indicates that changing back and forth to Daylight Saving Time twice a year seems to be bad for human health — from increased risk of heart attack to more mine accidents — in addition some people can expect to feel discombobulated for up to a week.
This disruption no longer makes sense given today's international 24/7 culture making it unduly complicated for businesses to coordinate timetables with markets in Asia and Africa and Europe.
We the undersigned thoughtfully implore the government to eradicate this anachronistic practice.
