We live in a society today, where the use of daylight savings time is an obsolete concept. The increasing use of corporate farms have virtually eliminated the need for an extra hour of daylight. Twice a year, when it comes time to switch out clocks back, thousands of people, who forget to do so, many of them because they are asleep at 2 am or who get off work after that time, are late to work, and personal engagements, causing a loss in income and productivity, and a change in the body's natural circadian rhythms. In addition, many industries worldwide, including the ever-important transportation industry, must adjust their schedules accordingly, creating further problems.
I propose abolishing this archaic convention.
