The issues and reasons for having daylight savings time as a component of energy savings is no longer a valid process. It has however been shown that the transitions from and to daylight savings time has both physical and emotional stress components to it. The length of 'daylight' hours (as in total hours of sunshine in any given day) is not driven by a clock, but by the rising and setting. The 21st century is no place in this situation for an antiquated concept like using an arbitrary clock to save energy.
