This petition is to abolish the Drug Enforcement Agency, the Controlled Substances Act, and the Office of National Drug Control Policy. It is our right to use our body any way we please. An amendment must be made to the Constitution to declare anything else illegal, and drugs are no exception. We are being treated like children and are allowing our fellow citizens to be prosecuted for victimless crimes at the expense of our tax dollars. We have waged a war against the American people for over forty years with no decline in the availability, use, or quality of drugs while simultaneously turning human beings into second class citizens analogous to the Jim Crow laws of decades past. It is time to stop arresting people for their substance use and give them medical help only if necessary.
