We believe the Obama administration should press Congress to outlaw the death penalty in all states and territories in the United States. The death penalty is the ultimate denial of human rights. This cruel degrading, and inhuman punishment is done in the name of justice. It violates the right to life as proclaimed in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. America should not be in the business of murder and we want our government to once and for all abolish the death penalty and seek proper justice for those convicted.
