though there are people who must never walk in society again, the legal system is imperfect, as it is composed of fallible humans. It has killed and will again kill innocent people. The only remedy to the innocent deaths caused by capital punishment is to abolish it nationally, and to commute the sentences of all persons on death row to life in prison without parole. This power is granted under the Constitution by the President's ability to grant pardons.
