Reasons to abolish the death penalty:
1)- It is cowardly to kill prisoners, who have be made defenseless: they no longer pose a threat to society
2)- Vengeance wishes from victims' families should not result in a new killing, legal or not.
3)- Judicial mistakes can no longer be undone, after death...
(Troy Davis had worldwide support... R.I.P).
4)- Killing a murderer is murder too, -- murder carried out by the government, in the case of the death penalty...
What happened to "Thou shall not kill"...?
The death penalty is barbaric and has been banned in quite a few other advanced countries.
Whether by Constitutional Amendment, or by Presidential decree, etc., we are asking the White House to federally eradicate "death-by-the-judicial-system" in America.
