After 500 executions in Texas alone, it's time for change. We need to let the US government know that there are better alternatives than taking a human being's life, and that two wrongs do not make a right.
From the Amnesty International USA website: "It’s dangerous to claim certain portions of humanity don’t deserve to be protected. Denying people their basic human rights, no matter how despicable their crimes, sets a dangerous precedent, and engaging in eye-for-an-eye mentality puts us in the same category as China and Saudi Arabia."
