Abolish the death penalty in the United States.

Created by J.G. on May 10, 2013

We ask to abolish the death penalty in the United States. Capital Punishment should not be endured by anyone no matter what the convicted person is charged with. If the person for instance, chose to murder and they were sentenced with the death penalty, what difference would we be from them? People convicted for serious crimes should not be condemned to death as this will go against our morals and values of human life. A life sentence without parole would likely be a better solution instead of execution as the convicted will spend the rest of their lives in prison. If any person is wrongfully accused or mistaken, they can be released without the risk of being accidentally accused of crimes that they didn't commit.
