The Democratic National Comitee is a biased system that lets a few have more voting power than millions. Candidates should be voted on by the majority of people, not by a few. Currently there are approximately 146.3 million registered voters with about 47 million of them being Democrats. These voters have 4051 delegates that vote based on the popular vote. In addition to these delegates there are 712 superdelegates, which comprise about 1/6th of the total delegates, who vote based on their preference, regardeless of what the popular vote is. This means each of these superdelegates has the voting power of 11,500 citizens and a combined voting power of 8.2 American citizens. This is not a democratic system and is in urgent need to be revoked or revised.
