Abolish the Department of Education and return all revenue allocated to that department back to the states.

The federal Department of Education has been a massive failure and waste of tax revenue by any measure. The constitution of the United States does not require or authorize the federal government to have any responsibility for educating our children. It has been proven that the education of our children is best accomplished at the local and state levels. Federal intrusion into this area has only led to a constant and steady decline in our ability to best educate our own children as we the people see fit.
