We petition for an end to the Diversity Immigrant Visa Program (also known as the "Green Card Lottery").
The United States is the only country that conducts a "lottery" program for those wishing to live and work in the country, free of many of the requirements normal immigration requires.
The Diversity Immigrant Visa is one-sided. No other developed nation offers a similar "lottery" route to Americans wishing to live and work overseas. The doors of the United States remain flung wide open, while doors to other countries are closed.
We absolutely do not seek an end to immigration; only to abolish this easy route to residence in the United States. Our country was built by the only hardiest and the brightest immigrants, and those who earn their way must be welcome.
