abolish the dollar bill and effectively replace it with the one and two dollar coins

Our dollar bill has a cost of 9.8 cents per dollar and a life cycle of about 40 months. That is $98,000,000 per billion printed every 3.4 years. We print 5,910,750,000 dollar bills in a given year, but not all are in circulation. So total there is $490,000,000 a year ($40,833,333 a month) spent on printing the dollar bill with a life cycle of about 40 months. We can increase the life of the tax money spent on currency by switching over to a $1 and $2 coin which are more durable and more cost effective than our paper $1 and $2 notes and over the next 30 years we would save projections of somewhere in the billions of tax payer dollars.
