Abolish random on the job and pre-employment drug screenings for all Americans. Current drug testing does not test intoxication level, it detects previous drug use. Employers should not have the ability to police their employees personal off the job lives.
Under the fourth amendment of the constitution, we are secure from warrantless "unreasonable search and seizure" unless there is probable cause.
If you will not abolish previous-use drug testing, please explain to me where employers get the probable cause to issue intrusive drug testing and drug screening? Also, with one of the most intoxicating and dangerous drugs exempt from drug testing (alcohol) how does it make any sense to test for something as harmless as cannabis?
