The American people are often naive to the fact that many appropriation bills come with "earmarks". Public tax dollars should go to the officially designated recipients of appropriations, and never be "earmarked" to gain a vote to pass. If our leaders cannot find a way to conduct business appropriately, they should be reprimanded and/or replaced. Enact policies or legislation to abolish all earmarks and ensure that all bills or legislation get monies based on the actual requests for funding. Eliminate all government "pork" and allow The People to know where their monies are factually being spent.
