Abolish the electoral college.

As of the 2012 election, it is still possible for a presidential candidate to win with less than 22% of the popular vote. It is still possible for an electoral vote to be redirected to any other possible candidate, regardless of the conditions under which the elector decided this was necessary. It is even still possible for more than 45% of the population to be, for all intents and purposes, treated as if they were voting for the candidate that won their state. It is still true that an individual vote does not matter, because at any point in time the electoral college can simply do whatever they want. Changing it is simply not enough; allowing for a replacement will not fix the problem. America can be great again when the popular vote matters -- not that it did before.
